It is coming up on 30 years, and the Brant OPP continue to investigate the disappearance of Robert Commu.
BRANT - Brant OPP is looking for information regarding a historical missing person case.
Robert Commu was last seen in South Dumfries Township on March 31st, 1996. Commu is 6-foot, 180 pounds with long brown hair and blue eyes. He has a tattoo of a lion with wings on his right upper arm, and was last seen wearing a white leather jacket with black sleeves and a red maple leaf on the back.
It is being said that Commu often visited areas along the Grand River, and was seen with two unidentified men in the days leading up to his disappearance. Investigators are looking for any information that could help identify those men.
The OPP is working with the National Centre for Missing Persons and Unidentified Remains in this case, and every avenue continues to be explored. If you have any information, please call the Brant OPP or Crime Stoppers.
