The Tavistock Braves battled hard to stay alive in the second round of the Southern Ontario Junior Hockey League playoffs. The Braves staved off elimination last night beating the Ayr Centennials 2-1 to force a game five. Tavistock scored less than three minutes into the first period and held a two-nothing lead going into the third period before Ayr finally found the net. The Centennials now lead the best-of-seven series 3-games-to-1 with hopes of advancing to the next round when they host the Braves in game five tonight.
