Zorra Township residents will get a chance to have their say on the 2017 Capital and Operation budgets tonight.
The Township of Zorra is hosting a special budget presentation meeting this evening.
Residents are invited to take a look the currently proposals for the 2017 operating and capital budgets. Director of Finance Maureen Simmons tells Heart FM this one way council is trying to get the public more involved in the process.
"I think that council is trying to get the public more involved in the process or at least let them know what they are looking at so if they have concerns they can bring it up before hand. So the budgets will be presented, it is not a formal council meeting but they will be in attendance to hear the dialogue that will happen during the Q and A question period."
This is not a formal council meeting, however councillors will be in attendance to listen tot he Q and A.
It starts at 7 pm tonight at the Township office at the corner of the 19th and 27th line in Zorra Township.
