WOODSTOCK - Bullwinkles Eatery in Woodstock is hoping to win the Aviva Community Fund contest.
They have created a youtube video to explain what they do at Bullwinkle's and are hoping to win the $50,000 grand prize. Vanessa Giuliano says they entered the contest is hopes of purchasing some new equipment.
"We are in need of some new cooking supplies like pots and pans, we are also in need up updating some of the bathroom fixtures so we can keep up to date with the Health Codes. Obviously we need some money to keep the eatery and the training centre going."
Bullwinkle's Eatery has been providing quality home cooked meals and a first rate culinary program in Woodstock for the past year. The idea of Bullwinkle's is to provide great food on a sliding scale where some patrons only pay $1 for an all you can eat buffet. It also serves as a culinary program where volunteers learn real life skills that can help them find work.
Catherine Stewart created the youtube video for them to enter the contest.
Voting runs until Thursday and you can vote up to 18 times for Bullwinkles. You can vote for Bullwinkle's online here.
