WOODSTOCK - A one-of-a-kind fundraiser through Threatre Woodstock managed to raise $16,300 for VON Sakura House.
Theatre Woodstock has its own performance of Calendar Girls last fall. It's a story about a group of women in the United Kingdom, who decide to put together a nude calendar in order to raise money for their local hospital.
The story inspired the cast and crew members to put together a calendar of their own, in order to raise money for the local hospice in Woodstock. The calendars were sold at several locations across the Friendly City for $20 each.
