Canada was able to withstand constant pressure from the Americans to earn a 4-2 victory last night in the Women's hockey tournament at the Beijing Olympics.
Canada was outshot 53-27 in the game and goalie Ann-Renee Desbiens stood on her head making 51 saves for the Canucks.

The win means Canada will be the No.1 seed for the quarterfinals and semifinals. Canada will face the No.1 seed from Group B during the quarterfinals on Thursday.
