The Canada Post outlet inside the Woodstock 7-Eleven will permanently close on July 15th and all postal boxes will be relocated to the Shoppers Drug Mart located at 959 Dundas Street.
WOODSTOCK - The Canada Post located inside 7-Eleven in Woodstock is closing on July 15th.
The post office is closing because because of the resignation of the dealer (7-Eleven) operating that outlet. Canada Post has confirmed they will not be looking to replace the Huron Street retail postal outlet, because they have two locations located less than 2 km from Huron Street.
Customer postal boxes at the Huron Street outlet will be relocated to the Shoppers Drug Mart outlet at 959 Dundas Street. Those who do not wish to relocate their postal boxes will be offered a refund and a free change of address for one year. Items that were previously sent for pick up to the Huron Street post office will be available for pick up at the Shoppers Drug Mart location.
The other Canada Post locations are Woodstock STN Main at 433 Norwich Ave and inside the Rexall at 379 Springbank Ave.
