Health Canada says Canadians can head to the US for a COVID-19 vaccine as long as they follow strict guidelines.
Health Canada says Canadians will not have to quarantine if they head to the US to get a COVID-19 vaccine.
You will need to follow strict guidelines if you take this route. These include travelling in a private vehicle and having a note from a licensed health-care provider.
Canadians are not permitted to do anything else while in the states, other than get the COVID-19 shot. This means no shopping or eating out.
Prime Minister Justine Trudeau announced today the border could reopen for non essential travel when 3/4 of the population is vaccinated.
