=WOODSTOCK - Friendly City Taekwando is hosting a BBQ and a Car Wash on Sunday.
They are hoping to raise money as they prepare to compete at the Canadian Taekwando Championships in Regina in November. Last year they sent 12 kids to Nationals in Calgary and are expecting similar numbers this year.
Chair of the Parent Council for Friendly City Taekwando Jadah Soltowski says they are hoping for a big crowd on Sunday.
"The kids will be washing the cars and we will be firing up the grill to try and raise some funds and send the kids to Regina. The car washes will be done by donation and we will be selling hot dogs and sausages at the BBQ."
The event is happening this Sunday July 21st from noon to 4 pm at the Foodland parking lot in Woodstock.
