Donations from the community have been pouring in to the Children's Aid Society.
OXFORD COUNTY - Around 500 children will wake up on Christmas morning to gifts under the tree.
Donations from the community; businesses and individuals have poured into the Children's Aid Society. Executive Director of CAS, Bruce Burbank says young and old have been donating, "A couple of little girls came in to donate money they had raised by selling some pies and that was quite sweet."
The countdown to Christmas is on and Burbank says it has been hectic.
"As of a couple of days ago we still had a few angels, we call them angels- these are children who you sponsor to purchase a Christmas gift for, we still had some that had no been filled and there has been a flurry of activity to have those orders filled."
Burbank adds that the community support has been immense.
"It's been quite incredible, we have been very, very busy recieving donations from individuals, from companies, from banks...just all sectors of the community have risen to the occasion."
