Nearly 150 teachers in the London District Catholic School Board are being cut from the payroll. In a release issued today, the Board cites declining enrolment leading to the need to reduce staffing for September. 142 teachers have received a "redundancy notice" this week, and are being told they'll be put on a list for supply teaching. 28 teachers are still on layoff from cuts made in September 2012. That makes 170 teachers off due to redundancy school board-wide.
