Oxford County Pride will be celebrating Pride month with several fun activities and contests for the whole family.
OXFORD COUNTY - Oxford County Pride is kick starting Pride month today with rainbow flag raising's in Woodstock, Ingersoll and Tillsonburg.
The flags of course will be flying at half mast to respect, remember and honour the 215 children, whose bodies were recently discovered at a former residential school in Kamloops.
Oxford County Pride is also starting the Rock Scavenger Hunt today. There will be weekly prizes as well as a grand prize at the end of the month. Don't forget to use #oxfordpriderocks on social media when you discover the painted pride rocks. Each entry will enter you into a draw for the weekly prize. They will have a grand prize at the end of the month.
They are also holding a pet pride photo contest. You can submit your best pet photo into the draw and a draw will be held on June 30, at 7:00 pm.
Oxford County Pride is also hosting a virtual Oxford Pride Family Day on June 19 this year. They will have more events happening throughout the entire month of June. You can find more details on the Oxford County Pride web site here.
