INGERSOLL - Residents on Reeves Road in Ingersoll are going to have to get used to the chain link fence in their back yard.
Some had petitioned town council to have the fence removed. Councilors were told that the fence protected an area that had been specifically designed and constructed to enable storm water drainage.
Council decided to keep the fence because the most voiced fear was without the fence residents would view the open space as theirs.
