Police seized 46 kilograms worth of suspected fentanyl with an estimated street value of $6.5 million.
WINDSOR - It was a historic drug bust in Windsor.
OPP officers teamed up with Windsor Police for Project Rotherham.
Three vehicles were searched on September 25th and a long list of items were seized including $6.5-million worth of suspected fentanyl.
Police say the 46 kilograms of fentanyl was enough for 46,000 street level doses, an amount "capable of taking the lives of a moderately sized city."
Officers charged a 25-year-old Windsor man and a 28-year-old Vancouver man with a long list of charges. They will both appear in a Windsor courtroom on December 8th.
