The WPS seized $132,000 worth of drugs and $2,000 cash.
WOODSTOCK - Seven people have been charged in a local drug bust.
Woodstock Police officers seized $132,000 worth of suspected fentanyl, crystal meth, and cocaine after searching several apartments in the Friendly City yesterday. They also found $2,000 worth of Canadian cash.
They arrested and charged seven Woodstock residents as a result, with ages ranging between 33 and 56.
A 49-year-old and a 33-year-old have both been charged with possession of cocaine, methamphetamine, and an opioid other than heroin for the purpose of trafficking, along with one count of possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000. The 33-year-old was charged with failure to comply with a release order as well.
Officers also charged a 35-year-old and a 53-year-old with possession of fentanyl and methamphetamine for the purpose of trafficking, along with possession of cocaine and possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000.
A 36-year-old, a 44-year-old, and a 56-year-old have been charged with possession of a schedule I substance.
