The City of Woodstock is bringing back the annual Christmas Decoration Exchange this year and will collecting donations starting next week.
WOODSTOCK - The City of Woodstock is bringing back the annual Christmas Decoration Exchange this year.
It will look a little different than in years past with social distancing measures in place, however the City thought it was important to keep as many traditional special events and programs running as possible.
This popular program will roll out in a similar fashion to previous years but with certain precautions in place so that we might execute the exchange in the safest manner possible.
You can drop off your unwanted, gently used Christmas decorations to Goff Hall at the Reeves Community Complex on the following days:
- Thursday, November 12th 5:00pm until 7:30pm
- Friday, November 13th 5:00pm until 7:30pm
Items will be accepted at the entrance of Goff Hall just north of the Reeve Community Complex main doors.
In compliance with Southwestern Public Health, items will be held for one week prior to the "New to You" FREE Shopping Event which will take place on:
Saturday, November 21st at Goff Hall from 8:30am until 10:30am
Please look for the signs, wear a mask and exercise appropriate social distancing.
You can find more information on the City of Woodstock Facebook and Twitter accounts as well as www.cityofwoodstock.ca for additional details & updates.
