The Accessibility Advisory Committee has two spots open for a term that runs until 2022 and applications are due by April 24th.
OXFORD COUNTY - Oxford County is looking for citizen volunteers to join the Accessibility Advisory Committee.
They have two vacant spots on the committee for a term that runs until 2022. The County is looking for people with a commitment and passion for creating a more accessible community.
The Accessibility Advisory Committee promotes awareness and sensitivity about accessibility issues for persons with disabilities and provides input on the County’s Multi-Year Accessibility Plan. The committee is comprised of seven members; six members of the public (the majority of whom shall be persons with a disability) and one (1) County Councillor.
Committee members provide advice and recommendations to County Council on matters that affect the entire community. It is a great way for committee members to share personal talents and passion for our community while helping to set strategic directions for the future.
Residents interested in applying for the Accessibility Advisory Committee are asked to submit, in writing or by email, an application including a resume by April 24, 2020, at 4:00 p.m. to:
