The WPS station and all City recreational and cultural facilities will be closed during lockdown and the Woodstock Enviro Depot and Recycling Depot will be closed Saturdays effective immediately.
WOODSTOCK - The Province is moving everyone into lockdown on Saturday.
The City of Woodstock is still trying to determine the full impact of the move. They will release a full list of City programs and services impacted on Tuesday.
We can tell you that effective immediately, the Woodstock Enviro Depot and Recycling Depot will be closed Saturdays, until further notice. The Enviro Depot and Recycling Depot will remain open Wednesday through Friday from 10am – 6pm. Vehicle restrictions will apply, delays can be expected.
In addition, all City recreational and cultural facilities will be closed to the public until further notice.
The Woodstock Public Library is preparing to return to curb-side pick-up service as of Saturday morning. Access to the stacks, public washrooms, and public computers will not be available.
Also the Woodstock Police Station is closing it's doors to the public starting at 8:00 pm on Thursday. All emergency services remain in place, while some non-emergency services may be modified or restricted.
