Middlesex County actually had to declare a local state of emergency due to localized flooding. In Oxford County we have had several examples of floods, especially in low lying areas. Yesterday was the biggest single day rainfall for several communities in Southwestern Ontario, including a couple in Oxford County.

No major flooding though or home damage in Oxford has been reported to Heart FM at the time this article was published.

Zorra Township put out a message this morning to call the office during business hours to report road hazards, or after hours to call the OPP at 1-888-310-1122.
