WOODSTOCK - The WCI Concert for a cure is back again to raise funds for the Sakura House.
Publicity and House Manager Laurie Schultz says the night features students and alumni preforming Musical numbers from Guys and Dolls, Jeckyll & Hyde, Ragtime, Urinetown, and many more shows.
The talent will be preforming for two to three hours starting at 7pm on April 21st at the WCI auditorium.
Schultz says the event is held every year to raise funds for a charitable cause, raising over $2000 last year alone.
"We started in 2008... after one of our staff members (Amanda Macdonald) passed from cancer. She was one of the founding members of the Red Players musical theatre program here, and that was kind of a way to honour her back in 2008 and it just became a tradition."
Schultz says Concert for the Cure has raised over $10,000 since the event started fundraising for Sakura house in 2016.
"Sakura house is a very worthy cause which serves our community and so, why not come out and spend some money on it and see some quality entertainment at the same time?"
The event is run by donations only. Anyone is welcome to attend.
