The Health Unit is in the process of identifying close contacts of the confirmed case. If you do not get a call from SW Public Health, it means they do not consider your child to be at risk.
TILLSONBURG - A positive case of COVID-19 has been confirmed at the Glendale High School in Tillsonburg.
Southwestern Public Health is investigating the case and is in the process of identifying close contacts. They will be following up with those contacts for specific testing advice. If you are not contacted by the Health Unit, it means they do not deem your child to be at risk of getting the virus.
The Thames Valley District School Board has already notified all staff, parents and guardians about the positive case. The school will remain open and school buses will continue to operate.
Thames Valley is following all health and safety protocols recommended by both the local public health unit and the Ministry of Education, and Glendale High School remains a safe place to attend school.
