Tillsonburg residents and business owners should limit their outdoor water use.
TILLSONBURG - Level 1 Water Conservation has been issued for Tillsonburg.
Oxford County does this whenever the water reserve levels could be a concern.
Officials say Tillsonburg is already 30 percent above the average daily water use from 2024. We're also in for above average temperatures this weekend, so residents might be tempted to use that outdoor water more than usual.
The County is encouraging residents and business owners to limit their outdoor water use at this time.
A Level 2 could be issued if the situation gets worse. You can find more information about water conservation in Oxford County, including every other day outdoor water system that's currently in effect, online here.
