The CP Holiday Train has been spreading holiday cheer across North America for 25 years now.
WOODSTOCK - A holiday staple is about to return to Woodstock.
The CP Holiday Train will be stopping in the Friendly City on Thursday, November 23rd. Spokesman, Terry Cunha says it is a big milestone this year.
"It's our 25th year. As usual, what residents in the area are going to see is a live performance by two very noteworthy artists, both Seaforth and Kiesza will be performing."
Cunha adds not only do people get a free concert, but they can also help local families.
"Everything that is raised during our stop in Woodstock will be staying in the community for community members in need."
You are asked to bring a non-perishable food item to donate to the Woodstock Salvation Army food bank.
The train pulls into Woodstock at 6:40 p.m. with the free concert beginning at 6:50 p.m. and running until 7:10 p.m.
The CP Holiday Train has raised over $22.5 million and more than 5 million pounds of food for food banks across North American since 1999.
