The Fusion Youth Centre now has small bicycle repair station so cyclists can give their rides a little TLC.
INGERSOLL - The youth at the Ingersoll Fusion Centre now have a portable bike repair station.
This comes after several requests from the community.
Craig Boddy, Assistant Manager for the Fusion Youth Centre says it is great for the community.
"We had a bike and scooter competition this past Friday; lots of youth were using it before they started to bike. We have heard some families come in, who used it on Sunday and were quite appreciative that the amenity is there."
Boddy hopes this will get young people away from the small screen, and out enjoying nature.
"It's not a secret that today's youth is technology obsessed and increased use of cell phones and video games. We are just really encouraging youth to get active. What better way then to get on a bike, explore the town, and get exercise at the same time."
The Urban Repair Stand includes ten tools for basic maintenance and a repair kit for flat tires.
