Daily COVID-19 case numbers are 914 today in Ontario, the highest they have been all week.
ONTARIO - The Province of Ontario has confirmed 914 new cases of COVID-19 this morning, bringing the total number of cases in the Province to 534,675.
The Province confirmed 19 new COVID-19 related deaths this morning, bringing the total in Ontario to 8,820. Another 1,397 cases have been labelled resolved, bringing the total number of resolved cases to 516,396.
The province completed 32,258 tests yesterday. We currently have 687 COVID-19 patients in the hospital with 522 people in the ICU and 357 in the ICU on a ventilator. Most of the new cases are coming from hot spot regions with 214 new cases in Toronto, 169 in Peel, 69 in Durham, 59 in Hamilton and 57 in the Porcupine Health Unit region.
