The Dairy Capital Run will take place at Discovery Farm Woodstock on Saturday May 27th and you have until midnight on May 23rd to register online.
WOODSTOCK - There are only a few weeks left to sign up for the first in-person Dairy Capital Run in three years.
You have until midnight on May 23rd to sign up for the run, which will takeover Discovery Farm Woodstock on Saturday May 27th.
Discovery Farm Woodstock is located on Oxford Road 17, and it's the same property that hosts Canada's Outdoor Farm Show.
Jocelyn Jenner, the Senior Development Manager for the Woodstock Hospital Foundation, says the runners should prepare for a different terrain this year.
"Everyone for Dairy Capital is used to the road. This is going to be different because it will be a mixture of gravel and grass and it will change intermittently throughout the race so make sure you watch your footing out there."
The Dairy Capital Run used to takeover Southside Park in Woodstock.
Jenner says this year's event will be fun for the whole family.
"We have a 5K which will be two laps of the course, a 2K, and then our Little Hoofers run for our little guys between the ages of 2 to 6."
All of the participants will be entered for a chance to win some door prizes. There's also going to be a dairy-themed costume contest this year with some prizes as well.
Up to 600 people will be able to sign up for the run online here and you will also be able to collect pledges for the Woodstock Hospital Foundation.
Jocelyn Jenner stopped by the Heart FM studio on May 10th to chat with Dan and Marcie. You can listen to the full interview below:
