Brant OPP are issuing a warning to the public after a very dangerous act on HWY 403 on Saturday afternoon.
BRANT COUNTY - OPP are reminding the public to pull over to the edge of the roadway if you ever get stopped by police.
The message comes after a very dangerous act on Highway 403 in Brant County on Saturday Afternoon. A vehicle stopped directly in a live lane while getting pulled over. This created a very dangerous situation for both the driver and the officer.
Eventually the officer was able to get the vehicle to pull to the right. The driver was spoke too and issued a ticket for their actions.
Remember in Ontario if Police or any emergency service vehicle activate their emergency lights you must pull your vehicle over and stop. If you are on a highway with more than 2 lanes you pull to the nearest edge of the roadway. If you are on a Roadway with 2 or less lanes then you MUST pull to the right and stop. Do NOT STOP in a live lane of traffic.
