SWPH is looking to contact the owner of a medium-sized, short-haired, brown dog that bit someone on the Cedar Creek bridge in Woodstock.
WOODSTOCK - Southwestern Public Health is investigating a dog biting incident in Woodstock.
A man was bit by a medium-sized, short-haired brown dog on November 14th. Officials say the dog jumped on the man and bit him, while he was walking on the bridge over Cedar Creek, close to Parkinson Road.
The dog was being walked by a young boy at the time, who told the man that the dog was just a puppy.
The health unit would like to contact the owner of this dog to determine if the man requires rabies treatment. Anyone with information should call Southwestern Public Health at 1-800-922-0096 and ask to speak with the Environmental Health Team.
