SWPH says a small/medium sized brown dog bit a youth while they were rollerblading on a pathway between McCreery Road and Oxford Ave on New Year's Day.
INGERSOLL - Southwestern Public Health is investigating a dog biting incident in Ingersoll.
Officials say a youth was rollerblading on a pathway between McCreery Road and Oxford Ave on Sunday January 1st, when they were bit by a small/medium sized brown dog.
The incident happened sometime between 1:30 p.m. and 2:00 p.m. and the man who owns the dog was there at the time. There were also two other people there, but it's unclear if they were with the owner.
The Health Unit wants to make sure the dog is up to date on it's rabies vaccines, so anyone with information reach out to the Environmental Health Team by calling 1-800-922-0096.
