Health officials say a dachshund bit a woman's ankle on Parkinson Road in Woodstock.
WOODSTOCK - Southwestern Public Health is seeking information on a dog biting incident in Woodstock.
They say a woman was walking down Parkinson Road at around 6:15 a.m. today when all of a sudden she was circled by three dogs described as dachshunds. One is described as having short hair while the other two had long hair.
Health officials say one of the dogs bit the woman's ankle. The owner, described as a man in his 30s with dark wavy hair, ran after the dogs afterward. He was shirtless and wearing red pajama bottoms at the time.
Health officials would like to speak with the owner in order to make sure the dogs are up to date on their rabies vaccines.
Anyone with information should call Southwestern Public Health and speak with the Environmental Health Team at 1-800-922-0096.
