Mother's With a Heart for Ethiopia would like to add a library to Tesfa's Shelter in Ethiopia.
OXFORD COUNTY - Books For Tesfa's Kids is a campaign dedicated to giving kids in Ethiopia access to books.
Mother's With a Heart for Ethiopia will be putting a library right in Tesfa's Shelter so kids can gain knowledge to develop for the future.
Founder, Shelley Green on why she decided to start this initiative.
"There are very, very few public libraries in Ethiopia. Actually, in my research I discovered there are only 20. The access to books is very limited and even though there's a library in their school they are not allowed to take those books home."
The foundation hopes to eventually open up the library to the greater community.
Each book is added to the library through a donation of $15 with the majority of your donation going towards a book and a minority towards keeping the books safe. To donate you can click here.
