Southwestern Public Health is encouraging people to double check their contact information while booking their COVID-19 vaccination appointment.
OXFORD/ST.THOMAS/ELGIN - If you get a text or an e-mail confirming a COVID-19 vaccination appointment that you didn't schedule, don't cancel it.
Southwestern Public Health says there have been a few rare occasions where the confirmation texts or e-mails have gone to the wrong person. It's usually because the person who booked the appointment made a mistake while writing down their phone number or e-mail address.
If you accidentally get one of these messages make sure you call the Southwestern Public Health vaccine booking line at 226-289-3560.
