A 52-year-old Woodstock woman has been charged with careless driving. She hit a hydro pole on the south side of Hunter St. near Riddell Wednesday afternoon. The roadway was shut down, while Woodstock Hydro made some repairs. WCI high school was put on lockdown, for fear of the pole, and hydro wires coming down.
