Two Ingersoll residents have been arrested and charged. Multiple police units were involved executing a search warrant at a residence on Skye Street this past Wednesday.
INGERSOLL - The Oxford OPP's Community Street Crime Unit along with other police services executed a search warrant on Skye Street in Ingersoll.
The home was searched on Wednesday, November 1st, and during the search suspected fentanyl, hydromorphone, drug paraphernalia and other property was seized.
It is estimated that with everything taken into custody, it values $26,000.
As a result, both 70-year-old William Ellis and 66-year-old Elizabeth Ellis of Ingersoll were arrested and charged.
They are both charged with of Possession of a Schedule I Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking, Possession of a Schedule I Substance - Opioid, and Possession of a Schedule I Substance - Cocaine.
Both accused are scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Woodstock on November 28, 2023.
