A 51 year old Woodstock woman will appear in court after a hit and run incident Woodstock Police say a driver was seen traveling at a high rate of speed in in a red pick-up truck in the area of Mill and Dundas Streets shortly before 9:30 Friday night. The driver caused extensive damage to G&H Appliances after attempting to turn on the southeast corner. The truck lost control, mounted the curb and struck the building. The driver then fled the scene, but Police located the truck a short time later and arrested the woman. Police say the woman was given a breathalyzer test that indicated she was under the influence of alcohol at the time of the collision. Police charged the woman with impaired driving, impounded her vehicle for 7 days and will appear in a Woodstock court January 24th. The building sustained about $15,000 in damages - her pick-truck about $3,000.
