Several Woodstock facilities will be closed for the Easter long weekend.
WOODSTOCK - The City of Woodstock has announced several closures for Easter Weekend. While Good Friday (April 7) is a statutory holiday, Easter Monday (April 11) is optional for businesses and government organizations to observe.
City Hall and the Engineering/Public Works Offices will be closed for both holidays, they will reopen on Tuesday April 11th at 8:30 a.m.
Transit services will not be running on either holiday but will be operating like normal on Saturday April 8th.
Garbage and recycling collection will also not be available for Good Friday and Easter Monday. Instead, those collections will be moved to Thursday the 6th and Tuesday the 11th respectively. The EnviroDepot is only going to be closed for Good Friday, reopening the next day at 7:30 a.m.
The Civic Centre Arena, Reeves Community Complex, and Woodstock Art Gallery will all be closed from Good Friday until Tuesday April 11th.
The Cowan Park Sportsplex and the Southside Aquatic Centre are closed Good Friday, Sunday, and Easter Monday, but programs will be happening on Saturday April 8th.
The Woodstock Museum NHS is closed for Good Friday but has its normal schedule for the remainder of Easter Weekend.
Finally, the Woodstock Public Library is closed Friday, Sunday, and Monday, but will open Saturday for its normal hours.
