Environment Canada has issued a special weather statement, with wind gusts between 70 and 80 kilometres per hour in the forecast for tomorrow.
OXFORD/BRANT - It's going to be very windy in Oxford County and Brant County.
Environment Canada says a cold front will pass through the area tomorrow, bringing wind gusts between 70 and 80 kilometres per hour in the afternoon and evening hours. Areas close to the eastern shores of the Great Lakes could see wind gusts closer to 90 kilometres per hour.
The strong winds should start to diminish from west to east tomorrow night.
A special weather statement is currently in effect. Environment Canada says strong winds can easily toss around loose objects and cause power outages.
