It is going to take a Christmas miracle to get a white Christmas this year with rain in the forecast overnight.
The forecast right now is calling for rain tonight and tomorrow. Saturday's high is expected to be 9 degrees with periods of rain, warm enough to melt all of the snow we got last night and make for a slushy Christmas.
If the rain holds off tonight, we might still have some snow on the ground when opening presents Christmas morning. Right now the evening forecast is calling for 60 percent chance of showers or drizzle with periods of rain before morning and temperature steady near 6.
We could get some snow over the holidays, however the daytime temperatures are expected to hover above the freezing mark all next week.
