OXFORD COUNTY - The Operation Sharing Extended Family Project has a number of volunteers who are ready and willing to help.
The volunteers can help with math tutoring, grocery shopping assistance and all kinds of other programs available for free. Coordinator Eric Schmiedl says they also have one one one computer training through their Writer's Cafe.
"The one on one computer training is done through an associated program called the Writer's Cafe and the Writers Cafe runs out of the CMHA building on Peel Street in Woodstock every Wednesday from 10 am to noon."
Schmiedl says these volunteers and ready and willing to help.
"The program has several volunteers – who are offering such things as math tutoring, non-monetary grocery shopping assistance and one-on-one computer training – available at the present time in Woodstock. There is also a team in Ingersoll prepared to offer life skills training in such things as budgeting and cooking."
Everything is free to use and people in need of the good these volunteers can do can access them by emailing Schmiedl at ericschmiedl@yahoo.ca or calling 519-539-5926.
