Oxford County's Library system has brought its website into the 21st Century. A new site has been launched this week, featuring a host of new bells and whistles. OCL.net allows users to easily search for e-books and music files, and keep up to date on what's going on at the different branches, or system-wide. Library CEO Lisa Miettinen says the update was long overdue. "The last major upgrade it had was in 1999, so it served us really well for a number of years but we kept adding content year after year and it was getting fairly unwieldy".
