Emergency crews responded to a collision on Potters Road this morning in Norwich Township. A School Bus and passenger van collided, and the driver of the van passed away in hospital due to their injuries.
NORWICH TOWNSHIP - A tragic collision on Potters Road in Norwich Township.
Oxford OPP along with Oxford County Paramedic Services responded to the incident this morning (Thursday, November 2nd) at 7:35 a.m.
The collision involved a school bus and passenger van, with the driver of the van having to be taken to hospital with life threatening injuries.
It has been reported that the driver of the van did pass away in hospital due to the injuries. The bus driver did not suffer any injuries.
There were no passengers in either vehicle at the time of the crash.
The West Region OPP Traffic Incident Management and Enforcement Team is assisting in the investigation.
Potters Road was closed between Oxford Road 13 and Middletown Line for several hours, but has since been re-opened.
