A head-on collision on Highway 19 in Norfolk County Saturday night has left one person dead and another with serious but non-life threatening injuries
NORFOLK – One person is dead and another sustained serious but non-life threatening injuries following a head-on collision south of Tillsonburg.
In a media release Ontario Provincial Police said the incident happened before 7:40 Saturday night on Highway 19 in Norfolk County.
A southbound van and a northbound pick-up truck collided between County Road 30 and Carson Line, police say.
The driver of the van was pronounced dead on scene and their passenger was injured and transported to London-area hospital. The driver of the pick-up sustained minor injuries.
Police say the identity of the deceased is being withheld until next of kin is notified.
