Roads are currently closed in Norwich as police continue to investigate a fatal collision.
UPDATE - The Oxford OPP have released more information regarding a fatal collision.
It was at 5 a.m. this morning when first responders made their way to the intersection of Base Line and Norwich Road in Norwich Township. The lone person in the passenger vehicle was a 22-year-old of Simcoe and was taken to hospital, where they were pronounced dead. The person in the transport truck was not injured.
Base Line is still closed at Thirteenth Concession Road and Caley Road, while Norwich Road is closed at West Quarter Townline Road and Hanmer Line.
The investigation remains ongoing, and the West Region Traffic Incident Management Team is on scene assisting the Oxford OPP with the investigation.

The incident involved a transport truck and small compact SUV on Norwich Road at Base Line. At this time Norwich Road is closed from West Quarter Townline Road and Hanmer Line, while Base Line is closed from Thirteenth Concession Road to Caley Road.
