A 75-year-old from Norfolk County died at the scene yesterday.
TOWNSEND - The Norfolk OPP is investigating a deadly crash at the corner of Villa Nova Road and Concession 3 in Townsend.
A pick up truck collided with an SUV at around 12:00 p.m. yesterday. Sergeant Ed Sanchuk had this to say in a video posted on the OPP West Region X page.
"The driver of the pickup truck, a 75-year-old of Norfolk County, suffered serious life-threatening injuries and I'm sad to say was pronounced deceased on scene. The driver and the two passengers in the Sports Utility Vehicle were transported to hospital with undetermined injuries."
The area was closed for several hours, but reopened at around 8:00 p.m. last night.
No further details have been released at this time.
