A fatal snow mobile collision took place just south of Brantford yesterday. Around 1:30am Sunday morning a snowmobile crossed over Old Greenfield Road, entered a ditch then collided with a wooden fence. During the impact the operator and his passenger were ejected from the machine. Both were not wearing helmets. The 22 year old driver of the snow mobile, Bryan Deming-Watson, was pronounced dead at Brandt General Hospital. The 19 year old passenger sustained non-life threatening injuries. Speed, alcohol and lack of helmets are being considered as contributing factors to this collision. OPP Technical Traffic Collision Investigators are assisting with the investigation.
