WELLINGTON COUNTY - A firefighter had to be airlifted to the hospital by air ORNGE after a fire truck crashed near Elora.
The fire truck left the roadway and went into the ditch this afternoon at sideroad 10 near Wellington Road 7.
The firefighter is said to be in serious but stable condition. The firefighter is being treated at a trauma centre. The crash is under investigation by the OPP and the Ministry of Labour. The road will be closed for several hours as investigators look to investigate the cause of the crash.
