Police do not suspect foul play in the sudden death of a three week old baby girl in the Township of Perth South.
PERTH COUNTY - Perth OPP say no foul play is suspected after the sudden death of a baby in the Township of Perth South.
The three week old baby girl died on Sunday and Police launched a sudden death investigation. A post mortem was completed at the London Health Sciences Centre on Monday. No word on what caused the babies death at this time however police are saying that foul play is not suspected at this point in the investigation.
Inspector and Detachment Commander of the Perth County OPP Rob Scott says this is obviously a very trying time for the family.
"On behalf of the members of the Perth County OPP, I extend our sincere condolences to the family during this extremely difficult time."
