Authorities worked together to seize $52,000 worth of drugs.
PERTH COUNTY - A collaborative effort by several surrounding police detachments and OPP has resulted in a major drug bust.
The Ontario Provincial Police, Community Street Crime Units from Huron-Perth, Grey-Bruce and the Stratford Police Service-Street Crime Unit worked together to arrest four individuals who are now facing an extensive list of drug and weapon charges.
After a traffic stop on November 28th in Perth County, authorities seized methamphetamine and marijuana and issued a search warrant for a property located on Maple Keys Line, in Huron County, where more drugs were seized including methamphetamine, cannabis marijuana, cannabis resin solid and cannabis resin liquid.
Arrested and charged are:
Forty-three-year-old, David Sullivan of Stratford was arrested and charged with:
Possession of Methamphetamine for the Purpose of Trafficking,
Possession of Methamphetamine,
Possession of Marijuana
Possession of a Prohibited Weapon,
Possession of a Prohibited Weapon While Prohibited.
Forty-three-year-old Christina Bailey of Stratford was arrested and charged with:
Possession of Methamphetamine for the Purpose of Trafficking,
Possession Methamphetamine
Thirty-one-year-old, Joseph Lindsay of Huron East was arrested and charged with:
Possession of Methamphetamine for the Purpose of Trafficking,
Possession of Cannabis Marijuana for the Purpose of Trafficking,
Possession of Cannabis Resin - solid for the Purpose of Trafficking,
Possession of Cannabis Resin - liquid for the Purpose of Trafficking.
Twenty-eight-year-old, Tasia Weickert of Huron East was arrested and charged with:
Possession of Methamphetamine for the Purpose of Trafficking,
Possession of Cannabis Marijuana for the Purpose of Trafficking,
Possession of Cannabis Resin - solid for the Purpose of Trafficking,
Possession of Cannabis Resin - liquid for the Purpose of Trafficking.
The combined estimated street value of the Controlled Substances, as a result of the traffic stop and the execution of the Search Warrant, was $52,000.00.
