The Oxford OPP charged a 48-year-old from Burlington and a 42-year-old from Guelph on Thursday.
SWOX - Charges have been laid after the Oxford OPP responded to a report of a disabled vehicle blocking a live lane of Highway 401 in South-West Oxford.
The call came in at around 11:00 p.m. on Thursday and officers arrested a 48-year-old from Burlington and a 42-year-old from Guelph.
The person from Burlington was charged with resisting a peace officer and being intoxicated in a public place.
The person from Guelph on the other hand was charged with operation while impaired, operation while impaired with a blood alcohol concentration over 80, and driving under suspension.
The OPP also charged both of them with fraud over $5,000, fraud under $5,000, possession of identification documents, possession of forged documents, and possession of credit cards.
