OXFORD COUNTY - Motorists are being reminded to slow down after the region was hit with an unexpected dose of freezing rain today.
City streets in Woodstock and the surrounding areas are very slippery right now. All available trucks have been called in to salt the affected areas. The freezing rain has also created some treacherous driving conditions today.
We have heard from the OPP about several vehicles that have spun out and gone into the ditch because of the conditions.
